The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out a check-in to see how you are going in the project and especially to thank you for all your work on Australian profiles on WikiTree. We really value your participation.
Please could you get back to me by private message to let me know if you are happy with your current role and team involvement within the project or if you would like to do something additional or different. Currently we have you down as a member of the Profile Improvers team. If you would like a change, you can check on the Australia Project page to see what other options there are.
It would also be great to hear any feedback and any suggestions that you have to improve the project. On a practical note, if you are a member of the google group, are you receiving messages ok?
As a member of the Scotland Project, we'd love to have you join the Twisted Thistles
in the upcoming Connect-a-thon the weekend of July 17 - July 20. If you'd like to join us and help to develop our ever-expanding Scottish tree, please register on the G2G post here
and be sure to mention you'd like to be on the Twisted Thistles team for Scotland.
Your England Leaders are completing the six monthly check in with all team members. I wanted to thank you for your work on English Profiles.
These are unprecedented and difficult times, and we understand as Project Leaders that your situation may have changed somewhat in the last few months. What we are all able to/ wish to contribute on Wikitree has changed. Please let me know if you are happy with your current role and team choice or if you wish to do something additional or different. Thank you again on behalf of all the project leaders for everything you do!
The Global Cemeteries Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Cemetery Teams? If not, is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!
We use Google Groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their followed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (CEMETERIES) so you don't miss any discussions in G2G.
Last, but not least, we would like to thank you for all of your contributions to WikiTree and let you know that any ideas or suggestions for improvement you may have for the Global Cemeteries Project would greatly appreciated!
My name is Sarah and I’m the Project Coordinator for the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.
Me again, with a different hat on. The England Project Leaders check-in with the members every six months to see how people are getting on. How are you doing? I notice you have yet to choose which profile improvements team(s) youd like to be on. Profile Improvements itself is not a team, but rather the umbrella for a number of different teams. One requirement for membership in the project is that you contribute to a team at least once every six months. Let me know which team(s) you'd like to be on and we can go from there.
As Team Leader for Inverness-shire in the Scotland Project, I'm just checking in with you to say hi and to ask you to let me know where your interests lie in the team. Check out the Team Page and look at what others are doing too. Maybe we can help each other out?
On behalf of the Australia Project leadership team, we're carrying out a Project Members Check-in to see if you are still interested in being involved as an active member of the project. In particular, we are ready to launch our new teams for the project. Please could you let me know what team/s you would like to contribute to.
A list of teams is on the Australia Project page. Please respond by private message.
We really appreciate your enthusiasm in working on Australian profiles on WikiTree, and thank you for all the work you have been doing. We look forward to hearing back from you and that you will decide to be part of the project as we move forward with the new teams for the project.
I havent heard back from you about the United Kingdom Project breaking up into the individual country-level projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I hope all is well with you. I assume you dont wish to join any of them at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Thanks for Angus Cameron's service record. I did search for an Angus with birthplace of Wycheproofe, but of course he went and got his own birthplace wrong on the form.
Weve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.
Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.
Please let me know if youd like to stay on in the new project, if youd like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) youd like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the projects Google Group.
