Biography

Lorenzo Mancuso is a Corleone native resident, the son of Arcangelo Mancuso and Anna Maria Pecorino ("Picorino"). I estimate he is born around 1748, twenty years before his son.

Lorenzo marries twice, first to Francesca lo Presti. They have at least one child, Ciro (c. 1768).

I estimate Ciro is 20 years old when he marries.

Francesca has died by 1775, when Lorenzo remarries, to Mercuria Grizzaffi, on 7 January 1775.

Ciro marries Salvatrice di Miceli on 6 April 1788. This record indicates both Ciro's parents are living, however, his mother has died by this time.
