On 29 Aug 1850, Edwin Hall married Cecilia Alexandrina Malan in Connecticut, USA. [1]
On 16 Jul 1858, Edwin Cesar Malan Hall was born to father, Eli Edwin Hall (B.A. Illinois College 1838; graduate Yale Divinity School 1841; LL B Yale 1874) and mother, Cecile Alexandrina (Malan) Hall. [2]
At the time of the 1860 US Census, head of household Edwin E. Hall (age 46, born in MA) was employed as a Clergyman and living on real estated valued at $800 with personal estate worth $3,500 in Baraugh Town Guilford, New Haven, Connecticut with his wife Cecil Hall (age 35, born in Switzerland), son Edwin Hall (age 1, born in Switzerland), daughter Lucy Hall (age 9, Born in CT), mother Elisabeth Hall (age 74, born in CT), and servant Sarah Wingood (age 16, born in CT). Death and Legacy
On 31 Dec 1908, Cecile Alexander (Malan) Hall died at age 80. Cecile was buried at Alder Brook Cemetery in Guilford, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. [4]
