Biography
Gioachina Majuri (Maggiore), daughter of Ciro Majuri and Antonina lo Curto, marries Pietro lo Curto, son of the late Gaetano lo Curto and the living Maria Gaetana Governali, on 19 June 1889 in Corleone. Consanguinity is detected and a dispensation obtained from Monreale for this marriage.[1] Pietro and Gioachina are first cousins, once removed with multiple common ancestors.
Gioachina's brother, Pietro, and two of his sons are active in the Mafia in Corleone.
In 1898, another of Gioachina's brothers, Tommaso, meets her husband, Pietro lo Curto, in New York City at 303 E. 107th St.
