Biography

Mattie Patricia "Pat" Majors was born on 7 February 1945 in Prattville, Autauga County, Alabama, United States. She was the youngest daughter of Robert Benjamin Majors (1896–1970) and Mattie Virginia (Golden) Majors (1902–1983).^[1]

In 1950, Mattie Patricia was recorded as 5 years old on the 1950 United States Census. She was living in the household of her father, Robert B. Majors, in Butler County, Alabama.^[2]

Pat was married to three husbands:

1. Cecil Howard Bone, 05 July 1963, Montgomery County, Alabama. They were the parents of two children.^[3][4][1]
2. Wayne Walters, November 1969, Santa Rosa County, Florida. They were the parents of one child.^[5][6][1]
3. Frank O. Gunter, 14 February 1992, Escambia County, Florida.^[7][1]

Pat died on 26 October 2016 in United States, aged 71. She was buried in Milton Cemetery, Milton, Santa Rosa County, Florida. At the time of her death she was using the surname of her second husband--Walters--and it was the one engraved on her grave stone.^[1][8]
