Thanks Glenn on the separation and explaining the 2 Alice Majors, this information should be shared with all PM's concerned to keep from having them confused again,
Re; Message on Major-1421 You state Alice is daughter of William Major not John, wondering where you got the source for this? There are 2 profiles for William Major as son of John, one born 1644 and one 1645, probably same person needing to be merged, but this Alice has dob of 1642.
Can do provide evidence where she is improperly linked as John's daughter?

If you have any questions, I can be contacted via my profile page.
Because WikiTree has only one profile for each person, the further back you go in your ancestry, the more likely cousins will find you and help out. ANY Wiki Genealogist can edit "Open" profiles (over 200 years old = open). There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: brickwall
Sources are very important, so please be sure to include the sources used, on each profile you add.
It is a good idea to enter a few of your ancestors manually, to get used to how WikiTree works. Then, you could upload a small portion of your tree, with a gedcom, to see how that works. There is always editing needed after a Gedcom import, so fewer profiles makes the task easier.
