Do you believe in karma, in past lives? I have been studying my genealogy for a very long time and the idea of finding people from other families in which I was in my previous lives is not new. moreover with genetics, I realized that it is very likely that we are reincarnated on branches relating to our current family?

To continue this investigation, this research, I am sending you a video on the subject of my past lives hoping to be right in this area as to my reasoning? https://youtu.be/ZEMKx1RbGUs

Hi Manuel,

Thanks for all your work on WikiTree. I noticed that you recently created a profile for a pre-1700 ancestor.

There have been some updates to the Pre-1700 Profile help page and the Pre-1700 Quiz since you took it in July 2018. Please review both and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You will notice that the wording has been modified to more fully explain the sourcing needed for pre-1700 profiles.

As collaborative genealogists, we need to tell each other our sources so that we can work together to judge their relative reliability. We're looking for reliable sources to add to the various lists. Would the sources in your records be good additions? Please share them on the profile so that other researchers can learn from you.

Thanks,

Debi

Hello, Manuel! Please be sure to add citations to sources to the profiles you are creating. "Personal genealogy" is not a sufficient source for pre-1700 profiles.

Please see these pages for more information:

Thanks, and happy hunting!

I made a typing error on the ancestry of isidore nicolas Bataille, Bataille-35, by duplicating the ancestry of his wife marthe adele Laplacette, Laplacette-1, on his own. For those who have consulted this branch prior to 2018/10/30, I have just replaced its real ancestry.

Hi Manuel,

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.

It looks like French Roots Project would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag French_Roots will help you get updates about activity for that project.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?

Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:

For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies

Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
