Biography
Gilbert Mahon was born on 7 October 1865. He was the son of Sir William Vesey Ross Mahon, 4th Bt. and Jane King.
He married Frances Blakeney, daughter of John Blakeney and Frances Maria Burke, on 19 March 1895, but do not appear to have had issue.
Gilbert joined his older brother Edward Mahon in developing mining and real estate interests in British Columbia, Canada.
He died on 2 January 1947 at age 81.
