Stefano Magaddino is born around 1866 in Castellammare del Golfo, the son of Pietro Magaddino and Arcangela Ancona.
In the 1890s, Stefano Magaddino is active in the local Mafia with Giuseppe Bonanno. They are both sent to prison. On his first night home in Castellammare after his release from prison, in October 1899, Giuseppe Bonanno is shot to death in the stable adjoining his home.[1]
On 3 February 1906 in Castellammare del Golfo, Stefano Magaddino, celibe, age 40 (b. 1866), borgese, native resident of Castellamare, son of the late Pietro Magaddino and the living Arcangela Ancona; and Maria Soccorso Mule’, nubile, age 24, housewife, native resident of Castellammare, daughter of Tommaso Mule’ and Rosaria Fazio; announce their marriage in the civil record.[2]
Stefano Magaddino, the one month old son of Stefano Magaddino, borgese, and Maria Soccorso Mule’, dies in 1917.[3]
