Thomas Babington Macaulay, 1st Baron Macaulay, PC, was a British historian, Whig politician and abolitionist. He wrote extensively as an essayist and reviewer; his books on British history have been hailed as literary masterpieces.[1]
Thomas was born in 1800 to Zachary and Selina. He passed away in 1859.[2][3][4][5]
