I'm still wondering why you have changed the spelling of Dan MacCormack's family to MacCormick. None of them used that spelling.
posted by Dave Fraser
It was the way it was spelled in the 19th Century. I am not sure at what point they changed. I can go into the profiles and indicate both spellings, at some point.

Hi Michael, hope you don't mind me editing some of these Coady profiles from Margaree. I'm trying to expand my CC7 connections and sorting through here trying to find out which Peter Coady is which.. haha.. there are a few! While doing that I'll be looking to expand the tree where I have relevant information!

It's time for the One Place Studies Project Check-In!

We've put together a survey for you to fill out to check in with you, it will only take a moment as there are only a few questions. Filling out the survey lets us know you are still interested in coordinating your study and provides an opportunity for you to share any suggestions you may have for the project.

If you have decided to step away from your study, please reply to this comment to that effect.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, or interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Hi Michael

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Also noticed you made 581 contributions to Wikitree, thank you! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key!

By your tags I thought you might be interested in our Canadin History Project at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Canadian_History Here is a list of other WikiTree projects you might like to check out: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Projects

Why don't you also stop by the One Name Studies project, to see if there's already a name study for (surname) going on? The current leaders for that are Doug Lockwood and Alison Andrus. They would be happy to get you started.

See you in the branches –

Margaret
