Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for 2 months! We're glad you're here. A few tips to help you dive in even deeper:
Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, and Merging.
We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.
And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways.
We are really happy that you took the Pre-1700 certification Quiz. Thank
you for doing your part to make WikiTree an accurate and openly
collaborative place for genealogists to share their research.
Do you have some 1700's people in your tree already ? Now that you have the
badge, you can take part in one of our
historical projects.
HI, I see you are working on merges, you may want to review http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Matching_and_Merging_FAQ to understand your responsibilities in doing merges. Remember, after the merge you will want to clean up the text. During a merge, the text from the merged-away profile is simply appended onto the end of the text of the merged-into profile. You will want to integrate it into a single biography and a single sources section. If you have any questions, just let me know.
Please make John Newton Hamilton - 2467 open or add me to the trusted list. I would like to connect his son, John Hamilton - 11467. http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Hamilton-11467&public=1 Thanks, Jeb [email address removed] http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dominick-41

I would like to have this individual in my Watchlist to simplify running queries and being added to the Trusted List is the only way that I am aware of to do that (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Watchlist#Adding_and_removing_profiles).
This is my 16x great grandfather: http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Relationship&action=calculate&person1_name=Stiles-1327&person2_name=Keith-1105
