Charles Stanley MacLeod was born on May 5, 1890 in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia. He was the son of William MacLeod and Augusta Hermann.[1]
He enlisted in the Australian Army on August 6, 1915 as part of the 26th Infantry Battalion (Service # 2655). At the time of his discharge, Charles was serving as a private for the 12th Infantry Battalion.[2]

Charles passed away on June 3, 1966 in Casino.[3]
