On 24 Nov 1808 after 1 publication of banns at the parochial mass in the parish church of St Raphael, Duncan MacDonell, son to Alex'r McD. and Mary MacDonell and Mary Bethune daughter to Angus Bethune deceased and Ann were joined in marriage by me the subscribed priest in the presence of Alex'r McDonnell brother to the bridegroom and Bethune brother to the bride and several other witnesses Alex'r McDonell M.Ap.^[2]
