The wedding of Miss Mary Leppert, of Bishop street, a sister of Aaron Leppert, the baker, of French street, to John Lynch, the son of Nightwatchman John Lynch, of James street, took place yesterday afternoon in the Sacred Heart church, which was handsomely decorated with flowers and palms. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Devine, in the presence of a large number of friends. James McClay, of Newark, was the best man, and Miss May Lynch was bridesmaid. The bride wore a gown of white hand embroidered crepe de chine, and this was set off with a white velvet hat, with white plumes. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Lynch, Mrs. McClay, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Leppert, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Leppert, Mr. and Mrs. George Leppert, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Perdun, Mr. and Mrs. James Mulligan, Mrs. Catherine Leppert, Misses Bertha Leppert, Mary Leppert, Anna Leppert, Helen Leppert, Messrs. Wilbur Terry, of this city; James McClay, of Newark; Mrs. A. Keuper, of Sayreville, and others. The happy couple left on the 5.38 train on a honeymoon trip to Washington, D. C., and on their return they will reside at Brooklyn, where the bridegroom has provided a newly furnished flat. Mr. Lynch is employed as lithographer in the American Can Company, Brooklyn. At the railroad depot, the couple were showered with rice and confetti by their friends, who gathered to see them off. The couple received numerous and handsome presents. Mr. Lynch was compelled to wear bandages on his left arm at the wedding ceremony, as a result of a severe dog bite received on Sunday night. While out visiting, a large dog bit him on the left arm in three different places, and although the wounds were given medical attention, Mr. Lynch was laid up for a time.

FAMILY OF LYNCH BRINGS HOME BODY OF AUTO VICTIM
The family of John F. Lynch, 843 E. 4th st., returned to their boro home today following the motorcar accident near Syracuse yesterday that caused Mr. Lynch's death. His wife and two daughters were uninjured. Lynch, with his wife, Mary, and their daughters, Mildred and Dorothy, was returning from a vacation motorcar trip to Niagara Falls. The party had Just left Syracuse, where Lynch had the brakes on his machine repaired and was driving on a road near Canastota. Lynch, members of his family said, opened up his engine going up a steep hill and Jammed on his brakes when the crest was reached. The new brakes worked so effectively that the car skidded and was carried into a ditch, where it overturned. The fall broke the steering wheel from the machine, striking Lynch's head and fracturing his skull, while the steering rod pierced his chest. He died before medical aid could he brought. Mrs. Lynch and the two girls were only slightly hurt. Lynch was 43 and connected with the Prudential Life Insurance Company In Brooklyn. Besides his wife and daughters he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Anna Lynch. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
