The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Devine, in the presence of a large number of friends. James McClay, of Newark, was the best man, and Miss May Lynch was bridesmaid. The bride wore a gown of white hand embroidered crepe de chine, and this was set off with a white velvet hat, with white plumes. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Lynch, Mrs. McClay, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Leppert, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Leppert, Mr. and Mrs. George Leppert, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Perdun, Mr. and Mrs. James Mulligan, Mrs. Catherine Leppert, Misses Bertha Leppert, Mary Leppert, Anna Leppert, Helen Leppert, Messrs. At the railroad depot, the couple were showered with rice and confetti by their friends, who gathered to see them off. The couple received numerous and handsome presents. Mr. Lynch was compelled to wear bandages on his left arm at the wedding ceremony, as a result of a severe dog bite received on Sunday night. While out visiting, a large dog bit him on the left arm in three different places, and although the wounds were given medical attention, Mr. Lynch was laid up for a time.
