Biography

Sir Robert Luttrell was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.

Sir Robert Luttrell (or Luterell, Luterel) was a son of Sir Geoffrey Luttrell of Irnham who succeeded his father while under age in 1276, but soon after was summoned to military service in Scotland.

Sir Robert was summoned 8 Jun 1294 to attend the king and summoned to Parliament as a Baron (Lord Luterel) by writ 24 Jun, 30 Sep and 2 Nov 1295,

He d. 1297 leaving Joan his widow and Geoffrey his son and heir aged 21.

Research Notes

CP 1st ed. has one entry for this title, Sir Robert de Luterel, of Irnham and Lord Luterel summoned in 1295 3 times but never afterwards. Neither his son Geoffrey nor any of his descendants were summoned to Parliament.
