Birth date of 1660 is estimated based on his voyage on the Welcome where he witnessed a will onboard ship.[1]

"William Lushington certainly was on the Welcome, for he witnessed William Wade's will on September 20, the very day that Barber died. He signed his name in a firm, educated hand and then disappeared from the records."[1]
