Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
I hope this helps! If you have any questions or problems, let me know.
Take care

Thank you for the kind words but I struggled with this section. I'm not sure if I entered the right data into the form. Ugh....I may need a tutorial to complete this. Thanks again, R
Everything looks fine to me. If you are talking about your DNA it is showing on your profile so it is correct. This page on DNA FAQ's explains more. Since we only add the details of our test we can not compare results on WikiTree. What it does do is populates across your ancestors' profiles and when you start to have shared ancestors other members who have been tested will be listed too. The other thing is if we use the same company we can go look to see if someone is a match to us.
What a lot of members do is upload their DNA to GEDMatch. It is free to upload your DNA and use a lot of their tools. Then you would add your GEDMatch ID to your tests here. When you see someone you want to compare you run their GEDMatch ID with your own on GEDMatch. It will tell you if you are related. This is the best way because you do not have to have tested with the same company.

Thanks again especially the info on GEDMatch. That is my next project. Take care, R
