THERE died at Little Billabong on the 22nd ult., in the 66th year of his age, Thomas Lunt, who had been a resident of the locality for over 50 years, and whose name, as the proprietor of the Australian Hotel, Luntsvale, was familiar throughout the whole district. Not only was his own place named after him, but a stream in the neighborhood has long been known as "Tom Lunt's Creek." He was twice married, and has left four sons, three of whom are married, and one daughter, also married; their mother, who was a daughter of the late Mr. Evans, of Thongla Station, having died three years ago. He was buried in the little cemetery near his late home, where lie both his wives and several other members of his family, and where many other identities of the vicinity are interred. Mr. Lunt was a native of Sydney, and a genial and intelligent man, who in kindness of heart was excelled by few.
