Telesio Lucci was born in Sulmona, Province of Aquila, Italy, Dec. 2, 1873;ComĀmander Lucci is a son of Gaetano and Concetta (GinĀetti) Lucci, the latter deceased, the former, professor of Ancient History in the University of Naples, Italy. Arnaldo Lucci, brother of Telesio Lucci, is one of the leading attorneys of Naples, practicing in civil law, and was formerly a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies.
Commander Lucci married, Oct. 4, 1901, Frida de Charnaud, who died in Florence, Italy, May 5, 1911. leaving four children: Mary, Frida, Mario, and Vivian.
obituary says he was Italian consul in Pittsburg and was fired by Mussolini for refusing to spread fascists propaganda in the United States.
