I've been researching my family genealogy on and off again for nearly twenty years now. I am working hard, of late, to clean up and document the data I have found with SOURCES. I was naive in the early days of my research to assume that if something was published online then others surely did their homework; sadly not true. I have seen so many examples of errors I know for certain that are replicated endlessly on the interest.

Point in fact is my GRAHAM line which begins with John GRAHAM and Mary PENNINGTON in NC. Many researchers believed and published as fact that out John GRAHAM was the John GRAHAM that signed the Mecklenburg Declaration. This has since been definitively denounced. That John GRAHAM is well documented into TN and AR and is well supported with that GRAHAM line research; our's is not; it ends with our John GRAHAM and Mary PENNINGTON.

So, I am trying to be more diligent. The gedcom file that I've upload needs a LOT of work. All but the most recent part needs scrutinizing and verification. I am hoping to find that here in this community.
