Biography

Isaac Lowell was born in 1739 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts to Gideon Lowell Jr. and his wife Mary (Blaisdell) Lowell.

He married twice - first, in 1767, to Anna Chase, daughter of Lieutenant Wells Chase and Martha Morse Chase; and second, in May 1778, to Mrs. Sarah Pillsbury. Isaac and Anna Lowell had children Hannah, Gideon, Ebenezer, and Daniel Lowell. Isaac and Sarah Lowell had a daughter Nancy, born 1780.

Revolutionary War Service - Muster roll dated 1 August 1775; enlisted June 1775. Service 8 weeks. Private in Captain Timothy Barnard's Company, Colonel Moses Little's Little-3142 17th / 24th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army, American Revolution MA Regiment. [1]

Private Lowell served again as a post-Revolutionary War volunteer in the Battalion of Artillery, Captain Burbeck's Company, 1785 - 1787.

Isaac Lowell died in May 1796 in Loudon, Merrimack County, New Hampshire,.
