Elizabeth Lowell was born at Newbury, Massachusetts on February 16, 1645, [1][2] daughter of John and Elizabeth (Goodale) Lowell. [3]
She married as his second wife, Captain Philip Nelson (1: 10m: 1666) December 1, 1666, at Rowley, Massachusetts. Philip, son of Thomas and Dorothy (Stapleton) Nelson, was baptized at Cottingham, Yorkshire, England on January 22, 1634/5, and came to New England in 1638. [2][3][4]
Captain Nelson died at Rowley on August 19, 1691. [2][4]
Widow Elizabeth died at Rowley on December 14, 1731. [2][4] She is buried in the Rowley Burial Ground, Rowley, Massachusetts. [5]

John, born June 30, 1668 [3]: married Mary Trumble at Rowley on January 18, 1697/8. [4]
Jeremiah, born November 23, 1670 [3]; and was buried at Rowley on January 18, 1670. [4]
Sarah, baptized June 8, 1673; married Robert Wadley/Wadleigh Jr. on September 8, 1696. [4]
Jeremiah, born November 15, 1674; died on July 10, 1706; married Ann Hopkinson of Rowely. [4][3]
Martha born October 30, 1677 [3]; died at Rowley on April 19, 1743; married George Dickinson on May 2, 1695. [4]
Ruth born August 20, 1680 [3]; married Samuel Dickinson on April 6, 1704. [4]
Joseph born November 28, 1682 [3]; died at age 61 on February 8, 1743; married first Hannah Brocklebank in March 1705/6; married second Elizabeth Jewett, widow of Jeremiah Jewett on September 5, 1732. [4][6]
Jemimah born October 22, 1686 [3]; married first William Bennett on January 16, 1707/8; married second John Todd on July 12, 1725; married third Ebenezer Parsons of Gloucester on December 21, 1742. [4] She died at Gloucester on April 25, 1752. [7]
Lucy, born Jan. 14, 1689 [4]; married Ezra Colburn of Dracut on Nov. 22, 1706. [3]
