Biography

Elizabeth Lowell was born at Newbury, Massachusetts on February 16, 1645, ^{[1] [2]} daughter of John and Elizabeth (Goodale) Lowell. ^[3]

She married as his second wife, Captain Philip Nelson (1: 10m: 1666) December 1, 1666, at Rowley, Massachusetts. Philip, son of Thomas and Dorothy (Stapleton) Nelson, was baptized at Cottingham, Yorkshire, England on January 22, 1634/5, and came to New England in 1638. ^{[2] [3] [4]}

Captain Nelson died at Rowley on August 19, 1691. ^{[2] [4]}

Widow Elizabeth died at Rowley on December 14, 1731. ^{[2] [4]} She is buried in the Rowley Burial Ground, Rowley, Massachusetts. ^[5]
