Biography
Virginia Lowell was born in Philadelphia in 1907, the daughter of William Daniel Lowell and Eleanor C. Smith. In 1910, Virginia Lowell, 3, born in Pennsylvania, lived with her parents and her brother, Burwell Lowell, 4, in Erie, Erie, Pennsylvania. All were born in Pennsylvania. Virginia Lowell married Thoburn Tait Bender. [1][2]
In 1940, the Bender family lived in Union Township, Union, New Jersey. Irginia Bender, 32, lived with her husband; Thoburn Bender, 35; their son, Phillip Bender, 5, born in New Jersey; and her widowed mother, Eleanor Lowell, 55. [3]
