Robert was born on 4 April 1926 in Surry County, North Carolina to Alonzo Lowe and Lavasta Kirby.[1] On 13 Oct 1947 he married Fay Katherine (Hawks) Lowe (1929-2014) in Dobson, North Carolina.[2] He passed away on 16 Jan 2005 in Lowgap, Surry County, NC[3] and was buried in the Fishers Gap Church Cemetery, also in Lowgap.[4]
