Kay Lortie O'Brien passed away In July, 2023.

Beulah, I will merge the profiles and fill them out. I have all the books and have redone them (and Updated) as I could. When the next reunion occurs I will bring them all. I have traced the Lortie Line back to the 1500's. There is much info with more to go. Let me know on e-mail if you'd like to know anything more. kay

Kay, we have two profiles for Uncle Albert. I created one for each of his family members that were the children of Susannah Brown. I did not put in any spouses or children. I left that up to their decendants. We need to merge yours into mine.

I am well aware of Connie's books. I've looked

at them off and on over the years. Midge didn't include books from Aunt Inez Ralph and Aunt Freda Roof in the reunion notice. I wonder if they have been borrowed and not returned or just overlooked in the list of books available ? They were the two youngest Lortie children of Charles and Susannah. By the way, their home was only about two miles from where you were born, straight down the road towards Whitesville.

Addendum to my e-mail. The Gaucher line from Washington state is partially covered also.

Beulah, I am actually Kay Lortie O'Brien. I graduated from Lowville Academy. I am the granddaughter of Albert John Lortie and Mary McDonald Lortie. I have spoken with you at the last two or three reunions. I have found more family tree info but am anxious to find more. My DNA showed some surprises and hoped we could take this year, however I understand you cannot come. Hopefully we can arrange a meeting. Hope you can remain well. Thanks Kay L. O'Brien
