Living in Salisbury in 1861. http://data2.collectionscanada.gc.ca/1861/jpg/4108523_00242.jpg

Also living in Salisbury at the time, also as Lodgers, were Charles Edward Lockhart and Albert Debresey Lockhart. It seems that these men were all in Salisbury to work temporarily. If William was a son of Timothy, this would make Steadman nephew to the two elder Lockhart men.
