Resided at 75 Old Hickory St. Chalmette, LA for most of her life. Moved to Delaware with her daughter Sandra after they lost everything in hurricane Katrina.
Virginia L. DiNicola, 91 of Wilmington, DE, formerly a resident of New Orleans, LA, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014.
Mrs. DiNicola is survived by her daughter, Sandra Magazino; her grandchildren, Randall Turcotte, Darren Maldonado and Juli Maria Creek; her great grandchildren, Nikki, Codi and Frank; and her great-great granddaughter, Luciana Lidia.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Tuesday, January 21 from 9:00-10:00AM. Funeral services will begin at 10:00AM, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. DiNicola may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 240 N. James Street, Suite 100-A, Newport, DE 19804.
