Biography
Maria Gaetana lo Curto is born in September 1893 in her parents' home on via Bentivegna, in Corleone. She is the daughter of Calogero Lo Curto, murifabbro (bricklayer), and Antonina Maria Guarino.[1]
Maria Gaetana marries Biagio Liggio, son of Vito Liggio and Maria Rosa Terranova, on 20 April 1913.[2]
Biagio and his brother, Giovanni, are both killed during the Navarra-Leggio War in Corleone.[3]
