Biography

William Lloyd was baptised in Trawsfynydd, Merionethshire, on 25 Sep 1808, the son of John Lloyd & Elinor his wife.

William was a Calvinist Methodist and a deacon for many years in his local chapel.

William (age Full) married Anne Roberts (age Full) on 7 May 1841 in Bryneglwys, Denbighshire, Wales.^[1]

In the 1851 census William (age 43), Farmer, was the married head of household in Llantysilio, Merionethshire, Wales.^[2]

In the 1861 census William (age 53), Farmer 89 Acres Employing 1 Labourer, was the married head of household in Merionethshire, Wales.^[3]

In the 1871 census William (age 62) was the head of household in Coed Ddrwg, Merionethshire, Wales.^[4]

In the 1881 census William (age 72), Farmer 80 Ac 1 Man 1 Boy, was the married head of household in Llantysilio (Denbigh), Merionethshire, Wales.^[5]

William's death (age 73) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1881 in the Corwen district.^[6]

William Lloyd is buried with his wife in the churchyard in Glyndyfrdwy.
