Biography

Walter Augustus Lincoln was born in 1867. He was the son of John Leonard Lincoln and Annie Louisa (surname unknown).

He married Martha Niddrie (the daughter of William Niddrie and Elizabeth Agnes Laurence) on 1 April 1885 in St. George's Church, Auckland.

They went on to have at least nine children.

In the 1890 New Zealand Electoral Rolls (1853-2010), Walter Augustus Lincoln was recorded living at Haydn Street, Auckland, a "Settler".

His wife Martha died on 8 February 1931.

Walter Augustus Lincoln passed away on 29 July 1941 and was buried with his late wife at Ōtāhūhū Cemetery, Ōtāhūhū, Auckland Council, Auckland, New Zealand^[1]. PLOT: Area 2 Lot No 656
