Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!
Debi
Thanks again, Linda
The best place to find both those things is in your contributions log. Links to it can be found just under your name on your own profile and as the first item in the My WikiTree drop-down menu on any profile page.
Once you are on that page, use the find feature of your web browser (usually Ctrl+F (win) or Cmd+F (mac). Search for the word adopted and manager to find profiles you have adopted.
For edits you have done, you can click the "edited the " link on each line to open the specific log entry for that activity. On the left will be what was there and on the right what is there now with the differences in red.
Please do let me know if you have any questions about how WikiTree works, even if they seem minor. My rule of thumb when I started was to search for an answer for five minutes, then reach out to my Greeters, and then resume searching. I might have found the answer before they got back with me but they sometimes offered a different way of doing the same thing which was easier. We are always here to help.
See you in the branches,

It has been noticed you are adding Pre-1700 Profiles.
When adding Pre-1700 profiles they should be sourced when created and locations for birth and death added. Family Trees are not considered a source for Pre-1700 profiles.
Please click here and read the help page on Reliable Sources for Pre-1700 profiles.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask or if needed you can ask for help by contacting a Mentor.

I apologize for adding a profile before contacting anyone. It was added before I saw the alert to contact before adding. I worked on this most of Sunday afternoon and thought I had sourced the profiles I had worked on. I saw that on William Goodwin, I had not sourced him. I will be out of town tomorrow and working the rest of the week, but will contact you with sources ASAP.
I have reviewed the list of Reliable Sources for Pre-1700 Profiles.
Thanks for your help. \ Linda
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
The United States Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.
Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
Now that you have been added to the trusted lists for your ancestors, you can edit their profiles and add relationships. You can read more about trusted lists on the Help:Trusted List page.

Thank you for adding your DNA Test information to your profile on WikiTree. Your information will be propagated to the profiles of your parents and your ancestors within about 24 hours of being added. It will also propagate to the profiles of the descendants of your ancestors, so they may see your information under the heading "DNA Connections" just as you can see theirs.
Getting started with DNA outlines how to proceed to use your DNA test information on WikiTree and DNA is a link to a collection of links about WikiTree's many features involving DNA.
The DNA Connections list on your profile will provide a visual way for you to find potential relatives on WikiTree who have also added their DNA test information. Using DNA tools at sites like GEDMatch.com, if you find a relative that matches your DNA sufficiently and you have genealogical sources for the intermediate relationships, you can mark the specific parental relationships back to the most recent ancestor that you both share as "confirmed with DNA." For details, guidance, and examples of how to properly document DNA confirmations, see DNA confirmation.
To get the best results, continue adding sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to ancestors already in WikiTree. If you have exhausted what you know on one line, it can sometimes help to add what you know on another line. The more branches you are able to add the greater the likelihood of finding potential cousins to match with. The process of identifying which branch elements of DNA relate to will better enable you to find matches that relate to the particular branches you are researching.
Let me know if you have any questions and have fun!

I would suggest starting with New Member How-to pages which may save you a lot of time and frustration. Don't be afraid to ask questions in our G2G forum and get involved as much or as little as works for you. Be sure to check out the tabs at the very top right hand side of your profile, there is lots to discover!
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person.
Enjoy the site!
