Biography

Sarrazin was born about 1849, daughter of Didime Levêque and Henriette Pelletier.

She married Narcisse Lepage dit Malois on 29 July 1872 at the Catholic parish of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges in Trois-Pistoles. ^[1]Their first three children died in five days in August 1875, likely due to illness. Their known children:

Research Notes

There is a child born in 1849, Geradine Levêque, whose parents are listed as Guillaume "Bill" Levesque and Henriette Pelletier. This is commonly cited as this individual's birth record. In the margin of that record, it is noted that she married Peter Larose in Danielson, Connecticut in 1908. Since Sarrazin's husband died in 1905 in that town, it IS possible these two individuals are one in the same. However, the name discrepancy is strange and Geradine is listed as G. Leviaque on her gravestone. ^[2]
