Biography

Charles Powell Leslie II born in 1769, eldest son of Charles Powell Leslie I and his first wife Prudence Penelope, dau of the 1st Viscount Dungannon.

Charles, jr married in 1791 to Anne Ryder, dau of Rev Dudley Charles Ryder of Merrion Square, Dublin.

Children:

1. Alicia Maria
2. Charlotte died unmarried
3. Anne married John Gordon, esq of Assington, Sussex, England

Anne died in 1818.

Charles married second 25 May 1819 to Christiana, youngest dau of George Fosbery of Clorane, Co Limerick.

Children:

1. Charles Powell III b 13 Sep 1821 died unmarried in 1871
2. John succeeded his father
3. Thomas
4. Christiana marr in 1843 to Rev. Lord John Beresford, the future 4th Marquess of Waterford

Charles died 15 Nov 1831, succeeded by his eldest son.
