Louis, the son of Jean-Baptiste Lepâge and Marie Ann Lebert, was born 13 February 1754, Châteauguay, Canada, Nouvelle France and baptized the next day at St-Joachim-de-Châteauguay. [1][2]
His 8 January 1788 marriage to Marie Labreche was in St-Joachim-de-Châteauguay, Province de Canada. The parish entry notes that he was the son of Jean Lepâge and "défunte Marie Ann Lebert."[3][4] Their children include: Jean-Louis Lepâge (1794), Marie Lepâge (1796), Claire Lepâge (1798), and Celeste Lepâge, (1801).
Louis died 15 January 1817 in Châteauguay and was buried two days later at the parish church, St-Joachim-de-Châteauguay, Bas-Canada.[5][6]
His widow Marie remarried 11 Aug 1818 to Pierre Gendron [7]
