Biography
Flavie Lemelin was born about 1790 probably at L'Acadie. She was the daughter of Francois Lemelin and Marie Therese Robert.
Flavie married a widower, Pascal Mercier on June 24, 1834 at L'Acadie. It was his third marriage as both his previous spouses had died. He probably still had about eight children at home from his second wife.
Flavie and Pascal had another eight children together over the next 14 years, all born at L'Acadie. It is not known when or where either Flavie or Pascal died, but it was most likely at or near L'Acadie by about 1850 - 1870.
