My line of Lees is well documented back to 1804 with a James B. Lee in Chester County, SC. After exhaustive DNA testing (primarily Y-DNA), it became apparent that our Lees were once Jennings. Y-111 tests have yielded almost certainty to this - now the hard (and fun) part is finding how the various Jennings lines in VA, TN and SC intersect with my own.
