Biography

Pierre, son of Pierre Lebegue dit L'Esperance and of Marie Barbe Soulière, was born 16 Jan 1765 and baptized the following day at L'Assomption. [1]

Pierre Lebegue dit Lesperance, son of late Pierre Lebegue dit lesperence and of Marie Barbe Sulliere, and Monique Janson, daughter of Jean Baptiste Janson and of Marie Josette Laure, were married on 6 July 1784 in L'Assomption. [2] The couple had 6 children: [3]

  3. Joseph b 1789
  4. Marie-Julie b 1791
  5. Amable b 1793
  6. Augustin b 1796

His wife Monique died in 1800, and Pierre married, second, Charlotte Maurice dit Lafantasie at L'Assomption. The couple had one child : François, b 1801. [4]

Pierre Lebêque, shoemaker, widower of the late Charlotte Lafantasie, died on 27 Aug 1832 and was buried the next day at the cemetery of St-Esprit (Montcalm). [5]
