Nora was born on July 19, 1878 in Spencer, Guernsey, Ohio. She was the daughter of Samuel LeMesurier LePage and Charlotte Josephine Cassill[1][2]

In 1879, Nora's younger sister, Eliza LePage, was born.
1880
In 1880, Nora was 2 years old. She and her family were living in Spencer, OH [3]
1898
At 20, Nora married James Millard Debord on June 4, 1898 in Pawnee, NE. [4]
1899
At 21, Nora became a mother. Her daughter, Adeline Debord, was born in Pawnee, NE.
1900
Nora, James, and Adeline were still living in Pawnee in 1900.[5]
1901
When she was 23, Nora and James had a second daughter. Mildred Margaret Debord was born March 22, 1901 in Pawnee, NE.
1902-1906
According to the memoirs of their grandson, James L. Johnson, James's alcoholism caused problems in his and Nora's marriage, leading to their divorce. Nora took the children and headed north by wagon; she planned to immigrate to Canada and start a homestead.
Along the way, Nora met Frank L. Decker in Minot, ND.
1906
When Nora was 28, she and Frank got married in Douglas, ND on April 5, 1906. Frank adopted Adeline and Mildred as his step-daughters.
1910
The Deckers still lived in Douglas in 1910 and were recorded in that year's US Census.[6]
1911
At 33, Nora gave birth to her and Frank's second daughter. Frances Decker was born August 14, 1911 in Douglas, ND.
1914
In 1914, the Deckers immigrated to Canada.
1916
The Deckers were living in North Battleford, SK and were recorded in the 1916 Canadian Census.[7]
1917-1920
At some point between 1917 and 1923, the Deckers purchased a homestead 30 miles north of Shellbrook, SK on Sugar Hill Road.
1921-1923
Nora's daughter, Mildred, and her husband, Andrew Johnson, also bought a farm on Sugar Hill Road sometime after 1921. They brought with them their two children, Charles and Nora.
1924-1930
In the years that Mildred and Andrew lived near her homestead, Nora saw the birth of two more grandsons; Dallas Frank (1924) and James Linnus DeBord Johnson (1926), and a granddaughter; Charlotte Johnson (abt. 1927).
According to James, Nora and Frank primarily raised him and his older brother during that time. He recalls being with her more than his own mother and even running away from home in an attempt to visit her.
1931
In 1931, Mildred and Andrew sold their farm and moved to Lytton, BC in search of gold. They took Charles and Nora with them. They left Charlotte in the care of Frances and her husband, Oscar Larsen. Nora and Frank were left with James and Dallas Frank.
1932
In 1932, Nora sent her grandsons to live with their parents and other siblings in Lytton, BC.
1941
In 1941, her grandson, James, returned to the homestead. She put him to work on the farm. During the winter, the rest of Mildred's family followed him before all going home to Vancouver in the spring.
1959
Nora passed away in 1959.
