Tsvika, do you speak any Hebrew or other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add
{{ Languages | he | en-3 }}
to the top of your biography if you speak Hebrew natively and advanced English, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, etc. It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree!
I'd suggest adding the country of interest, either as part of the city tag or as a separate tag. That will make it easier for other researchers to find you and collaborate.
WikiTree is different from other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person. That means we will all share ancestors and work together as a collaborative team! The Honor Code helps keep everything functioning smoothly as we work on our SHARED tree.
You should have received an email with links you can use to get started. Once you confirm your email address, you'll have an option to volunteer to add information to WikiTree. Begin with tags for your own profile. Tags are surnames, locations, concepts, etc. in which you're interested.
When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add to the tree!
