Margaret was born in 1914. She was the daughter of David Lawson and Elizabeth Davis. She passed away in 2013.
Mrs. Zeigler was a resident of NHC Healthcare, Parklane in Columbia. She was an active member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church since 1950 and was an honorary life member of the Women of the Church. Active in Garden Club activities for most of her life, she was the first president of the Council of Garden Clubs of Greater Charleston. She was active in the Camellia Garden Club of Columbia and won many awards for her flower arrangements. She was a longtime member of the Nationally Accredited Flower Show Judges Club of South Carolina and served as its vice president. In addition, she was a dedicated hospital volunteer at Palmetto Health Richland. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Edward H. Zeigler, Jr.; her granddaughter, Karla Lynn Zeigler; as well as her younger siblings, sisters, Elizabeth Neilan of Somerset, PA, Jessie Grimsley of Charleston; and brothers, David E. Lawson Jr. and William J. Lawson of Spartanburg.
