Mary Lawrence was born on June 17, 1834 in Hobart, VDL (Tasmania), Australia, daughter of William Lawrence (~1803–1884) and Susanna Babington (~1808–1893).[1]
Mary (25) married Edward Nash Spong (44) (born about 1815 in Aylesford, Kent, England; son of Thomas Spong Esq and Mary Eliza (Nash) Spong) on June 4, 1860 in Barnes Bay, Bruny Island, Tasmania.[2][3] Their children were:
Mary died on November 2, 1891 in North Bruny, Bruny Island, Colony of Tasmania, aged 57.[4][5]
