Frank Laver was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Frank Jonas Laver was born on 7 December 1869 in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia, the son of Mary Ann Laver and Jonas Laver.^[1]

He was an Australian Test cricketer who played in 15 Test matches between 1899 and 1909 and visited England as a player and team manager on four occasions.^[1] He also represented his country in baseball.

He married Katie Myrtle Adele Major on 15 September 1914.^[1] They had a son and a daughter.^[1]

Frank died on 24 September 1919 in East Melbourne, Victoria.^[1][2]

Frank Jonas Laver is buried at the Brighton General Cemetery at Caulfield South, in Victoria Australia.
