George F. P., born May 30, 1888, in Bellevue ; attended the public schools of the borough, graduating from the same, after which he entered Washington and Jefferson Academy, graduating therefrom in the year 1905 ; in the same year he entered Washington and Jefferson College from which institution he graduated with honor in 1909; he then became a student in the law department of the University of Pittsburgh, graduating therefrom with the degree of Bachelor of Law in the year 1912; he was admitted to the bar of Allegheny county, and is now a member of the law firm of Cosgrove & Langfitt, with offices in the Bakewell Building, Pittsburgh; in the year 1910 he was appointed to a position in the prothonotary's office of Allegheny county, where he is one of the clerks of the common pleas court, in which capacity he is serving at the present time; in 1913 he was elected a member of the borough council ; he is an active factor in the ranks of the Republican party, and a public speaker of some note, his services being in demand on many occasions ; he is a resident of Bellevue.
