The Chief regrets to chronicle the death of an old and respected citizen, Mr. R. R. Lane, which occurred Sunday the 8th. The remains were buried at Zion Hill Monday with Masonic honors. He was a good man, and his spirit dwells in that lodge on high whose builder and maker is God. [7]
