Biography

I was born in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri on January 8, 1945. at 1:35 A.M. My Mom couldn't be there as she was at Bingo. I have lived through the technological advance and am not sure is was an advance., I am getting old with white hair and other challenges, and I expect better things to happen in the future.

One of the most important aspects of my life is that my mother and father were separated (and never divorced) when I was 2. My mother and I lived our entire lives with her father and mother, giving me a very different look at relationships and outlooks. I never saw my father to remember him. An important part of this is that my mother was married at 15 and had me at 17. That exact pattern was also accomplished my her mother. I was just 34 years younger than my grandmother. My mother and grandmother were both mothers to me and I had no father as my grandfather worked overseas as a chef, starting and operating food services on military basses in Iceland, Newfoundland, and Alaska. I grew up in a woman's world.

Thank you so much for this.

This saved a lot of time.

It´s nice to know where our last name derived from.

I haven´t found the person that has Scotland DNA yet, and I need to do more research.

By the way, I served in the USAF and trained at Lackland in August 1952. Boy was it hot down there at that time. I became a parachute rigger. I belong to AF and AM Post 131 Cumberland, Maryland. I have been a member over 45 years.

Hi Sam. You wrote: "The proposed merger of Ann Dobbins (Skiles-635) and Anna Dobbins (Skiles-636) cannot be accomplished because it is required to merge the larger profile number into the smaller profile number."

When you see this error message, the next sentence underneath says "click here to reverse the direction of the merge". That should enable you to proceed.

Christopher's will written in 1789 mentions only two sons, Jesse and George. Is there some source for a son Christopher Robertson Jr. born to Christopher and Sarah?
Sam, please check with me before you complete the Robertson merges as to the direction of the merge Thanks, Karen
Sam,

Thanks for making additions to John Heaston's profile. Jeff
