Biography

Asa William Lamb, son of Chester Lamb and Lydia Lamb, was born on 22 Sep. 1805 at Shutesbury, Franklin, Massachusetts.^[1][2]

He married Anstrus Gamer Carr, daughter of Rowland Carr and Deborah R. (Sheldon) Carr, in 1833.^[2]

Anstrus died in 1846 and he married Matilda French, daughter of Abel French and Susan (Bundy) French,^[2]

He was a farmer when he and Matilda appeared on the census of 1860 at Otego, Otsego, New York.^[3]

Asa died on 26 Nov. 1873 and was buried at Bundy Cemetery, Otego, Otsego County, New York. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.^[2]
