Clara Laidlaw (married name Morgan) was born about 1856 in Belfast, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Clara (Luxton) Laidlaw and William Laidlaw.
She was married to Charles Morgan. Their children were:
- Ruth Morgan (1884– )[1]
- William Andrew Laidlaw Morgan (1890– )[2]
Clara died in 1946 in Warrnambool, Victoria, aged 90 years.[3]

William farmed at Mepunga, successfully, and left a will which helped sort out when his seven children were born. Presbyterian records from this part of Victoria have many gaps at this time. From his will, I estimate that Clara was his eldest daughter born about 1859, with an older brother William John Laidlaw, four younger sisters, and a younger brother David Thomas Laidlaw (1870-1957).
