Marie Delia Amanda Labossiere was born at Saint-Jude on Oct. 12, 1876 and she was baptized there the next day. ^[1] She was the fifth of seven children and the fifth of seven daughters of Jean Baptiste Labossiere and Philomene Allaire.

Jean Baptiste and Philomene Allaire are next found in the 1881 Canada census at St-Jude with five of their children: Marie, 18; Rosanna, 16; Philomene, 13; Delia, 4 and Emilia, 3. ^[2] No census date in sheet. One child has died by this time in 1877.

Jean Baptiste and Philomene Allaire are next found in the 1891 Canada census at St-Jude with four of their children: Philomene, 22; Delia, 15; Emilia, 13 and Reginia, 7. ^[3] Census date: April 15, 1891. A second child has died at 24 years old in 1890.

Marie Delia Amanda Labossiere married Ulric Mongeon on October 25, 1897 at Saint-Jude. ^[4]He was the son of George Mongeon and Justine Hebert originally of Saint-Ours.

Delia Labossiere and Ulric Mongeon had six children, born at Saint-Jude or Saint-Bernard between 1898 and 1914, four girls and two boys, but four of the children died young or as an infant.

1921 Canada Census image e003101577 Quebec 199 ST. Hyacinthe Rouville 9 ST. Jude P. 18 Lines 19-22: Ulric Mongeon, 44; Delia (Labossiere), 45; daughter, Marguerite Mongeon, 7; Father: George Mongeon, 70. ^[7] No census date on sheet.

Ulric Mongeon passed away at Saint-Jude on February 22, 1951 and he was buried there two days later. He was 73 years old.

Delia Labossiere passed away at Saint-Jude on August 20, 1951 and she was buried there three days later. She was 74 years old.
