Biography

Elisabeth Laberge was born in 1737, in Montmagny, Canada, Nouvelle France. She was 20 years old when she married 40 year old widower Jacques Paré in 1758 in Châteauguay, Canada. They had eighteen children together of whom only five are known to have lived to adulthood (PRDH). She died in 1799, in Châteauguay, Lower Canada at the age of 62.
